HOW DO YOU EXTEND THE CANDLE?Don't blow the candle! Put it out only by smothering the flame. This way you will avoid splashing the wax and causing the wick to open or break.
-
CAN I LIGHT MY CANDLE EVERYWHERE?Never place your lighted candle near potentially flammable objects such as curtains, rugs, tablecloths, paper. Read also “A candle for every room” and find out where to light your candle.
-
WHY SHOULD I PLACE THE SPARK PLUG AWAY FROM AIR STREAMS?Do not light the candle in the vicinity of drafts and you will avoid making it burn irregularly or in dangerous accidents such as flare-ups and falling objects on fire.
-
WHY SHOULD I CUT THE CANDLE WICK AFTER BURNING?By removing 5 mm of wick from your candle at the end of each burn you will be able to prevent the deposit of soot on the jar.
-
WHY SHOULD I KEEP THE CANDLE AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND ANIMALS?Keep lighted candles out of the reach of children and / or animals, who could naively approach the flame and burn or drop the candle itself on flammable surfaces.

CAN I EXTEND THE CANDLE WITH WATER?Do not use water or other liquids to extinguish the candle. The wax could splash damaging the surface on which the candle burned or even the different temperature of the liquid used could cause a thermal shock and therefore the candle holder could break. WHAT POSITION SHOULD THE SPARK PLUG BE IN?The candle must burn in an upright position, thus preventing the hot wax from escaping from the jar.
-
WHY DOES THE SPARK PLUG STAY AWAY FROM SOURCES OF HEAT?The candle should be lit away from heat sources, because high temperatures could compromise the burning, making it irregular and therefore possibly dangerous.
-
HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THE CANDLE LIT?In order to prevent the flame from becoming too high and the wick from opening or sliding only towards one side of the jar, it is advisable not to let the candle burn for more than three hours at a time.
